Bieber is scheduled to perform at Takeoff’s funeral at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena later this week.
Thousands of family, friends, and fans will gather to pay their respects to the late Migos rapper during his “Celebration of Life,” which will include a performance from Justin Bieber.
Bieber will perform a tribute to the 28-year-old MC at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena on Friday, reports TMZ.
Free tickets are only available for Georgia residents and can be secured via Ticketmaster starting at 2 p.m.
The canadian pop star doesn’t have any records with Takeoff alone, but he did work with Migos on 2014’s “Looking For You,” as well as the trio’s Culture III track “What You See.”
According to Atlanta radio station V-103, Reverend Jesse Curney III of New Mercies Christian Church will be hosting Takeoff’s service at the 20,000-seat capacity arena, and it will begin promptly at 12:00 pm ET.
Kirshnik Ball “TakeOff” was shot and killed at a bowling alley in Houston, last week. He reportedly was hit with two stray bullets after a fight broke out over alleged game of dice. He was 28 years old.
Houston police are still investigating the shooting that led to Takeoff’s death, but have yet to make any arrests. They are urging all witnesses to the incident to come forward with any information they can provide.
