Kanye West And Meek Mill Hosts Holiday Gift Giveaway In Their Hometowns For Families In Need
Meek and Kanye West aka “YE” showed some holiday spirit with a holiday giveaway in their hometowns.

This past weekend, (Kanye West), donates nearly 4,000 gifts to toy drive in Chicago. (Meek Mill), donates $500,000 in christmas gifts to Philadelphia families in need ahead of December 25th.
According to 16th Ward Alderman Stephanie Coleman, Kanye West purchased nearly all 4,000 toys that were set to be given away at a toy drive in the Englewood neighborhood. Per local affiliate ABC7 reports, the toy drive was inside the Kennedy King Gym.
“I’m so proud that Kanye is, once again, responding to our request to help the children of Englewood and beyond,” Coleman said. “He is no stranger to our community. His presence has always been felt in our neighborhoods and he loves visiting, but this Christmas he has truly been our modern-day Santa Claus.”
Others also donated toys, including local business owners, leaders of the community, and residents. Families who attend will also be given food, and can play games and win prizes while getting their toys.
(PHILADELPHIA) -- Meek Mill and Criminal Justice Reform Advocate also gave back this holiday season on Sunday (December 19), Meek donates $500,000 worth of gifts with the support of Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin, Roc Nation and Patriots owner Robert Kraft.
“I feel like if you can help, help,” Meek Mill said. “We’ve been doing it for a while now in our community.”
According to 6abc, Meek also plans to make a $30,000 donation to the Philadelphia chapter of Twelve Days of Christmas, a volunteer organization that aims to equip families in need with supplies to enjoy the holidays.
