Kevin Durant suffered mild calf sprain, to be re-evaluated next week
Breaking: Kevin Durant has suffered a mild calf strain on his right calf and is out for the rest of the series vs Houston Rockets, sources tell Adrian Wojnarowski. He will be re-evaluated next week.
Yep, it’s just the calf.
Although there were fears Kevin Durant — and soon to be the top target of every team with max money — may have suffered a more serious leg injury, the Warriors star has been diagnosed with a mild strain of his right calf. He will be re-evaluated next week.
An MRI Thursday morning confirmed the team’s initial diagnosis.
Durant was forced from Golden State’s 104-99 Game 5 victory Wednesday night in the third quarter after a non-contact leg injury.
