Carter III scored the largest first week sales for any album in 2008 in the United States, and was the first album to reach the million mark in one week since 50 Cent’s 2005 LP The Massacre.

The album featured bangers such as "Lollipop," "Got Money," "Mrs. Officer," "Mr. Carter," "Comfortable," "A Milli," "Shoot Me Down," and "Let The Beat Build."
According to Chart Data, the 16-track album recently surpassed the one billion streams mark on Spotify.
