Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter III came out in 2008, but it still dominates. Millions of Lil Wayne fans agree that Tha Carter III was his best album in the series.


Carter III scored the largest first week sales for any album in 2008 in the United States, and was the first album to reach the million mark in one week since 50 Cent’s 2005 LP The Massacre.

According to Chart Data, the 16-track album recently surpassed the one billion streams mark on Spotify.
