Lil Wayne, DaBaby, Wiz Khalifa, YG and others to perform at Mike Tyson, Roy Jones Jr. fight Nov. 28


7 Days Away, the Mike Tyson fight against Roy Jones Jr. is shaping up to be quite the legendary event in more ways than one.

Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr will feature rappers DaBaby, Lil Wayne, French Montana, Wiz Khalifa, and YG


Fellow artists Lil Wayne, DaBaby, Wiz Khalifa, French Montana, YG will take the stage on November 28 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles for the fight between the two heavyweight legends.

Triller, released a statement on Tuesday announcing that the five artists will feature on the music bill. Lil Wayne, French Montana, DaBaby, Wiz Khalifa, and YG are scheduled to perform “multi-song sets” prior to the fight. The statement reads that these musical acts are in honor of Tyson’s return to the ring after over a decade.


Lil Wayne said: "This event is going to go down in history, no doubt! "I'm grateful to be a part of it and share the arena with two living legends. "I'm stoked to perform and give the fans something they can rock to."


Fellow Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania rapper Wiz Khalifa, stated: "November 28th, I'm putting on a live show and watching two of the greats lace up their gloves, thanks to Triller."


French Montana added: "Thank you to Triller for giving me the opportunity to perform on this historic night, in the same arena as these boxing legends.


"It's truly a moment. I'm honoured and can't wait to see Tyson and Jones fight."


TMZ Sports disclosed the news of Ne-Yo singing the National Anthem at the Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr fight, — a lifelong dream for the performer who’s been a hardcore Mike Tyson fan since he was a kid.


The Tyson vs. Jones pay-per-view event costs $49.99 in the U.S. The event can be ordered at FITE.TV, TysonOnTriller.com and major cable/satellite TV providers.

  • Time: 9 p.m. ET

The four-hour event begins at 8 p.m. EST with the main card scheduled to start at 9 p.m. EST. Tyson and Jones are expected to make their ring walks about 11 p.m, depending on how long the other fights last.
