LL Cool J refuses to put Jay-Z, Kanye West, Nas, DMX & Rihanna on his Def Jam Mt. Rushmore List.
On the new episode, which dropped on Wednesday (July 31), featured the Queens emcee rattling off a surprising list of his favorites.
LL is the most recent guest on Shannon Sharpe's Club Shay Shay, where he discusses his Mt. Rushmore, Drake vs Kendrick, his upcoming music, the term GOAT and more. LL's new album, The FORCE (Frequencies of Real Creative Energy) is his first new album in ten years, and is entirely produced by Q-Tip of ATCQ. The project represents years of intense work, which the "I'm Bad" MC likens to “learning how to rap again.” “It’s like a director going back to film school after he’s had blockbusters,” LL says, or “Denzel going back to acting class.”
