Megan Thee Stallion says she was shot in Hollywood Hills incident that ended in Tory Lanez’s arrest; LAPD says she injured her foot
Toronto-rapper Tory Lanez allegedly opened fire on Megan Thee Stallion early Sunday morning after arguing with her and her friend, which lead to her being hospitalization and him thrown in jail.
Early reports said that Megan cut her foot on broken glass. But on Wednesday, the rapper said she had in fact “suffered gunshot wounds as a result of a crime that was committed against me.”
According to Page Six “Tory fired the shots from within the vehicle while Megan was outside trying to leave,” a source exclusively told us on Thursday. “There is video and the police are investigating. This is a case of a man physically harming and abusing a woman.”
Houston, TX rapper, Megan Thee Stallion said Wednesday that she was shot multiple times on Sunday, but expects to fully recover. However, Los Angeles police said she was treated at a hospital for a foot injury after an incident in the Hollywood Hills.
“I suffered gunshot wounds, as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me,” the 25-year-old Texan whose legal name is Megan Pete wrote in an Instagram post, without saying who shot her or why. “I’m incredibly grateful to be alive and that I’m expected to make a full recovery.”
