Report: Dave Chappelle cancels show dates after testing positive for COVID-19


The comedian, who has been performing socially-distanced gigs since June, is asymptomatic.

Dave Chappelle was forced to cancel his upcoming socially-distanced shows in Austin, Texas after testing positive for COVID-19 TMZ reports.


AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Dave Chappelle tested positive for the coronavirus just before his comedy show scheduled for Thursday, forcing his upcoming appearances to be canceled, a spokeswoman said.


As of right now, Chappelle is currently in quarantine but has no symptoms. He had already performed five shows in Austin, Texas at the Stubbs Waller Creek Amphitheater and was scheduled to perform the rest of the show between Thursday and Sunday.
