Snoop Dogg's new gospel album includes a feature track from Jamie Foxx, John P. Kee, and the Death Row Mass Choir's debut.

His new 21-track gospel album is titled Altar Call as a tribute to his late mother, Beverly Tate, who passed away in October 2021. The LP is a sequel to his 2018 album, Bible of Love, and is set to be released on her birthday, April 27.

In a statement first shared by Okayplayer, Snoop shared, “The spirit of my mother will forever live within me. This album is a reflection of what she has taught me to use my voice and my platform to spread love and heal the world. Just another chapter out of the ‘Bible of Love.’”

In addition to Snoop's Death Row's forthcoming gospel album, Altar Call is described as “a heartfelt testimony, a moment of reflection, faith, and community [and] a reminder that no matter your path, there is always room for grace.”

A single will be dropping this Friday (April 18), John P. Kee’s “Mother I Miss You”
