Snoop Dogg Bless Jamie Foxx With A Deathrow Chain

The West Coast legend, Snoop Dogg appears to have made a habit out of gifting the infamous Death Row Records chain to athletes, actors presenting Foxx with his very own Death Row Diamond chain in a video posted via akademiks Instagram on Thursday.

In a video posted by DJ Akademiks on Thursday (Aug. 18), Snoop Dogg is seen gifting Jamie Foxx with a dazzling Death Row chain appearing at Netflix's comedy horror film premiere 'Day Shift.'

Steph Curry is just the latest pro athlete to receive a Death Row Chain from its new CEO. Back in January, Eli Manning also received his own Death Row chain from Snoop, who had promised on air that the two-time Super Bowl champ would receive it via mail in time for his 41 birthday.

Snoop purchased Death Row Records back in February. He says, “I am thrilled and appreciative of the opportunity to acquire the iconic and culturally significant Death Row Records brand, which has immense untapped future value. It feels good to have ownership of the label I was part of at the beginning of my career and as one of the founding members. This is an extremely meaningful moment for me.”

Just days after Snoop Dogg announced that he has officially acquired Death Row Records, the D-O-Double-G unveiled new bling to mark the momentous occasion. The chain and pendant were designed by Shop GLD and took inspiration from Snoop’s 20th studio album art. Titled BODR, the album art appears to feature a dog dressed as Snoop in his iconic braids while he sits on a throne. The graphic sits between the words Death Row Records, which are emphasized by its iced-out design.

The necklace reportedly contains more than 250 grams of solid gold and over 13 carats of natural VS diamonds. Shop GLD has created jewelry for other high-profile celebrities in the past including, Cordae, Micah Parsons, Wiz Khalifa, and more. Take a look at the chain below.
