Uncle Snoop’s paycheck for the 2024 Olympic Games is reportedly a big one.
The West Coast Icon rumored $500,000 per-day for 2024 Paris Olympics
Is Snoop Dogg really earning $500,000 a day for Olympics coverage?
If you've been following the 2024 Summer Olympics, Uncle Snoop has been a key member of NBC's coverage of the 2024 Paris Olympics. But his presence at the Olympic Games seemingly came with a significant paycheck. His epic work is allegedly earning him half a million dollars a day plus expenses. On Sunday (Aug. 4).
Henry L. McNamara, who is a New York-based venture capitalist and Forbes 30-Under-30 honoree, recently shared an interesting tidbit on X (formerly known as Twitter). According to McNamara, Snoop, 52, is earning $500,000 a day for his Olympic appearances, plus expenses.
“Sat next to an NBC exec at dinner,” the X (Twitter) user claimed. “He said Snoop gets paid $500k a day plus expenses to be here promoting Olympics. From Gin and Juice to a few million to be a celebrity at the Olympics – what a world.”
The Front Office Sports reported, NBC will rake in $1.25 billion in ads from airing the Olympic Games. At $500,000 a day, Snoop would be making $8 million for 16 days of coverage. Adding a guestimated $1 million for expenses, $9 million would be a small amount to NBC's bottom dollar. Is it feasible? Possibly.
