The legendary film director talked about the surprising rap battle between Denzel Washington and A$AP Rocky in his latest film

Spike Lee has commended A$AP Rocky's acting abilities, especially after collaborating with him on the film "Highest 2 Lowest." He shared these thoughts during a conversation with Gillie Da Kid and Wallo on Million Dollaz Worth of Game.

"Highest 2 Lowest," the newest film by Spike Lee, features A$AP Rocky in a prominent role, showcasing his acting skills alongside Denzel Washington. Lee has pointed out that Rocky is playing a character with depth and complexity, rather than simply portraying himself as an aspiring rapper dealing with a moral dilemma. The film, a modern adaptation of Akira Kurosawa's "High and Low," explores the music industry and presents Rocky as a character who confronts Denzel Washington, an experienced music mogul. 

Lee also discussed the unexpected rap battle between Denzel Washington and A$AP Rocky in his new film, "Highest 2 Lowest"

Rocky conceded defeat in the battle, recognizing Washington's talent as a "wordsmith". Spike Lee likened the scene to a "heavyweight fight" and commended Washington's surprising rapping skills.
