Stephen Curry makes history breaks the NBA's All-Time three-point scoring record surpasses Ray Allen

Congratulations, Stephen Curry has made the most threes in NBA history.

Steph Curry passes Ray Allen to set NBA 3-point record against Knicks

Steph Curry surpassed Ray Allen for most 3-pointers in NBA history on Tuesday night December 14 at the Garden.

The record-tying and record-breaking shots came early in the first quarter of a game against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden, with Allen in attendance and the crowd buzzing every time Curry touched the ball.

In the first quarter against the Knicks 4:27 in, Curry hit his 2,974th trey in just his 788th career NBA game. Ray Allen, who finished his illustrious career with 2,973 buckets from deep, played 1,300 career games in the regular season. Curry reached this milestone with over 500 fewer 3-point attempts.

Allen, who retired in 2014 and was enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2018, was in the building for the historic moment.
