Tory Lanez’s attorneys launch an entire website to prove his innocence

Updated: 1 day ago

Newly released footage from the night of the incident involving Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion shows witness Sean Kelly stating that he saw a woman fire the gun (Megan’s former best friend Kelsey Nicole).

The Toronto rapper’s legal team releases New Footage claiming Innocence

Tory Lanez’s attorneys have launched an entire website featuring evidence from the night of the Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion shooting, featuring witness Sean Kelly testifying that he saw a woman discharge the firearm.

On Thursday (May 29), Tory Lanez’s legal team made a bold move in their ongoing effort to clear his name. On Wednesday, May 29th, they dropped a wave of previously unseen audio and video footage from the night Megan Thee Stallion was shot in 2020, along with a 35-page presentation they say proves the rapper’s innocence.

The materials are intended to challenge the narrative surrounding the incident and raise questions about the evidence presented during the trial. Lanez's team is confident that this new information will sway public opinion and potentially influence the legal proceedings ahead.

The materials were released to the public through a new website, 36hourslater.com, which the team says was created to provide full transparency. According to them, key evidence was overlooked during the trial that led to Tory’s 10-year prison sentence.

One major piece of this newly shared evidence centers around testimony from the only independent eyewitness. That individual allegedly told authorities they saw “the girls fighting” and insisted it was “a girl” who fired the gun, not a man.

The revelation has added a new layer of complexity to the case, as it contradicts previous testimonies and raises questions about the events leading up to the shooting. Legal experts suggest that this new evidence could significantly impact the ongoing trial and its outcome.
