Triller announces search for Verzuz’s first resident DJ.
Swizz Beatz, Timbaland and Triller is Searching for First Resident DJ for ‘Verzuz’ and Other Events, Comes With $1 Million Salary
The DJ will reportedly host other events on the Triller platform and will earn an annual salary of $1,000,000.
Triller events like Verzuz, Triller Live, Triller Fight Club, FITE, and beyond, while earning a $1 million annual salary in the process.
“We’re looking for a performer at heart, someone with a big personality, incredible personal flair, and technical skills to match; someone who not only has his, her or their finger on the pulse of music and culture, but who is also creating it,” Triller executive chairman Bobby Sarnevesht said of his expectations.
The DJ position will be decided by fans in a battle where they can choose who deserves to be Triller’s resident DJ. DJs must showcase a five-minute set on the platform using the hashtag #TrillerDJ to be considered. A total of 16 candidates will be chosen on August 8 and finalists will battle each other in VERZUZ on September 10 during TrillerVerz weekend music festival.
