The Canadian rapper is allegedly attempting to use legal tactics to affect Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl halftime show according to music manager Wack 100.
Drake alleges attempting to “restrict” Kendrick Lamar‘s Super Bowl Halftime Show
Wack 100 claims Drake hit Kendrick Lamar with Cease & Desist letter over “Not Like Us.”
During a recent livestream, the controversial music manager claimed that Drizzy was using legal tactics to impact Kendrick’s widely-anticipated Super Bowl performance next year in New Orleans.
“He’s trying to get the NFL to restrict Kendrick,” Wack said.
He also claimed that Drake has served Kendrick with a cease and desist order in an attempt to prevent him from performing his chart-topping diss track “Not Like Us.”
Despite what Wack100 said via Club House. It is not confirmed where he got this information from, Wack says that the NFL and Jay-Z who is in charge of picking the headliner will not have this happen.
The NFL’s announcement that Kendrick will perform at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans next February has divided the Hip Hop community, with some — including prominent figures like Nicki Minaj, Birdman and Cam’ron — arguing that NOLA native Lil Wayne should’ve been given the gig instead.
