Working alongside Blacc Sam (Samiel Asghedom), the brother of the late Nipsey Hussle. The new venue on Pine Avenue celebrated its grand opening with Snoop and his wife, Shante Broadus, both taking part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Partnership: The venture is a partnership between Marathon Burger (led by Blacc Sam) and Long Beach native Snoop Dogg, along with Snoop's son Cordell Broadus.
The expansion seeks to uphold Nipsey Hussle's legacy of economic empowerment, ownership, and community reinvestment. Snoop emphasized the initiative as a shift towards ownership rather than just endorsements.
Blacc Sam established the restaurant chain to commemorate his late brother's legacy, with Snoop Dogg and his son Cordell as investment partners. The latest branch debuted in downtown Long Beach, becoming the brand's fourth location in Los Angeles County. Snoop was present during the opening weekend to express his support.
