Cardi B hits back at Offset threats and harassment following Offset's removal of post regarding Georgia paternity issue.

The Atlanta rapper seems to respond after reports emerge suggesting that, according to Georgia law, Cardi B and Stefon Diggs' newborn son might legally be recognized as his: “My Kid lol”
Offset’s deleted post jokes that Georgia law makes him the legal father of Cardi and Stefon’s newborn baby.
The Migos rapper caused a brief stir on social media by posting and then deleting an Instagram Story that jokingly mentioned a Georgia state law. This law could technically recognize him as the father of Cardi B and Stefon Diggs' newborn child, given that he and Cardi are still legally married.
The post, featuring a plain black screen with the white text "My kid lol," appeared shortly after widespread reports suggested that the state's paternity laws might hold him legally responsible, even though Cardi became pregnant while they were separated.

The legislation specifies that in Georgia, the husband of a married woman is presumed to be the legal father of any child born during the marriage, regardless of biological paternity, unless officially contested in court. The technicality led to widespread online confusion and memes, resulting in Offset's now-deleted comment on the situation.
According to Georgia law, however, it's more complex, and Diggs can apply for legitimation, granting him legal rights to their child. Otherwise, Cardi is technically the only one authorized to make legal decisions for their newborn.
The rapper's post came after a viral tweet from My Mixtapez, which implied that Offset might legally be recognized as the father. This was highly impactful, occurring during public tension over Cardi B's relationship with Diggs and the ongoing divorce proceedings of the couple.
Shortly after Offset removed his post, Cardi B addressed the situation online, focusing not on the joke itself, but on the increasing harassment, obsession, and threats related to her personal life.
In a series of posts, Cardi wrote: “Y’all be thinking it’s so funny and it’s not… it’s been over a year and I’m still being harassed and threatened to the point that I feel like my life in danger.”
She continued: “MF’ers do anything for attention and it could get real nasty with just one upload… LEAVE ME TF ALONE.”

Cardi later took to X Spaces to deliver an extensive speech about ongoing harassment, her battle with postpartum depression, and the intense pressure and scrutiny she has faced since becoming a mother. She clarified that despite frequent accusations of being “outside” or neglecting her children, she has mainly been at home recovering, taking care of her kids, and managing her mental health.
She also mentioned that the harassment has become alarming, describing an “unhealthy obsession,” individuals with substance abuse issues targeting her, and people promoting dangerous behavior towards her.
Cardi stressed that she has attempted to resolve these issues privately, but the pressure has become overwhelming.
“I’m really starting to be concerned… I can’t take this anymore. I don’t bother nobody. Leave me the fuck alone,” she said.
Offset has not publicly commented on the deleted post, and Stefon Diggs has also stayed silent. Cardi and Offset remain legally married while their divorce is being processed in court, making the Georgia statute a widely discussed topic.
In March, Cardi took to X and alleged that Offset had been sending her threatening and explicit messages since their breakup.
"He's upset because I sent his girlfriend messages of him begging me, saying he was going to take away his life, saying he was going to take away my life," Cardi claimed. "He sent a text message to somebody I was dealing with of us having sex."
