Marlon Wayans mentioned that he’s willing to collaborate with 50 Cent on a film, despite their recent feud over Diddy.

50 Cent and Marlon Wayans were recently at odds over Fifty's involvement in the Netflix docuseries ‘Sean Combs: The Reckoning.’
Marlon Wayans has expressed interest in casting the rapper in his next movie, calling him a potential "incredible star" and mentioning he's "thinking about" it in early January 2026, likely for a new horror-comedy or Scary Movie installment. He even joked about "clowning" 50 Cent in a horror film, following his own recent work like the 2025 movie Him.
During Sunday's episode of the We in Miami Podcast, Wayans referred to himself as a "workaholic," explaining that work helps him steer clear of "doing stupid stuff."
“You ain't never gonna read, ‘Marlon did dumb shit,’ aside beefing with 50 Cent,” the Scary Movie filmmaker and actor quipped near the 28-minute, 57-second mark in the video linked above.
"It was very quick for me," Wayans mentioned regarding the brief conflict with 50, which escalated after he made remarks about "karma" last month in reaction to Fifty's participation in the Netflix docuseries Sean Combs: The Reckoning.
Wayans continued, “I was having a cigar and I was thinking about it. I was just like, ‘What example do I want? Is this an example of two black men with two businesses, fighting in public?’ It's not good for my culture. That's not the culture I wanna be an example of. I wanna build businesses. I [don’t] wanna burn them down.”
Wayans mentioned that he would "gratefully [and] gracefully lose a battle to achieve victory in the larger context," noting that Black people and other minorities already face plenty of challenges.
He also mentioned that there was "never beef like that," and described their disagreement as “just two n****s on the block.”
“The bigger picture is, we're two successful businessmen,” he said. “Bro, why are we beefing? ... The whole way I got into it was because I was trying to stop two black men from going at it, right? You get caught up in the fight."
Wayans was then asked if he would consider working with Fifty if the G-Unit founder reached out.
“I’m already thinking about putting him in my next movie,” Wayans said. “I got some action stuff I'm doing. I think he could be an incredible star. It'd be a great combination. I think it'd be fun to see us together.
“A buddy action comedy with me and this n***a,” he continued. “That's how you tee it up, use it as a springboard to capitalize on something, man, and that's what people wanna see.”
Wayans and Fifty's feud included AI-generated images and a series of petty insults exchanged between them. In another interview with KTLA, Wayans mentioned that he was motivated to resolve the dispute after receiving advice from his family group chat.
