In the middle of his Saturday night performance at the annual festival, while introducing Skepta, the Toronto rapper spoke to the crowd and told them what he thought about London and American rappers.
“No disrespect to America, but nobody in the world can out‑rap London rappers,” Drake said, eliciting a raucous response from the crowd, as well as chagrin and dismissal from Hip-Hop fans in the U.S. and beyond
He declared that UK rappers, particularly those from London, are the best lyricists in the world.
