On Tuesday (January 11), The 2023 Golden Globes, Tracy Morgan and Jamie Lee Curtis presented Eddie Murphy with the Cecil B. DeMille Award Speech for his outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment.
After receiving a standing ovation from the audience inside The Beverly Hilton Hotel, Eddie accepted his trophy from close friends Jamie Lee Curtis and Tracy Morgan.
Eddie Murphy offered sage advice to aspiring comedians while accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Award at Tuesday night’s Golden Globes: Don’t talk about Will Smith’s wife.
“There’s a definitive blueprint that you can follow to achieve success, prosperity, longevity and peace of mind. It’s very simple, just do these three things: pay your taxes, mind your business and keep Will Smith’s wife’s name out of your f–king mouth!” Murphy told the audience.
