The Brooklyn rap legend addressed what’s ahead for his career in the coming years.

Jay-Z's Expanding Roc Nation Empire & Eyeing Sports Team: “We'll figure out a way to get some ownership in the team at some point”

Kevin Hart managed to snag a conversation with Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter for the second season of his show Hart to Heart.

On a new episode of Kevin Hart's Hart to Heart series on Peacock, the 52-year-old rap mogul and producer opened up about prioritizing time with his children, Ownership of Sports Team, Producing Movies and More.

Jay-Z said that while he’s not retired, he isn’t clear on what the next stage of his career will look like after five years since he has released his most recent album 4:44.

Hov says he's 'Not Actively' making music but will 'Never' say he's retired: 'Open to Whatever:'

“I don’t know what happens next,” he said. “I’m not actively making music or making an album or have plans to make an album, but I never want to say that I’m retired. It’s a gift, so who am I to shut it off? And it may have a different form or interpretation. Maybe it’s not an album, maybe it is. I have no idea, but I’m just going to leave it open.”
