Joe Budden stated that Minaj’s choice to perform at the conservative event was his tipping point.

The founder of The Joe Budden Network has officially announced that he is cutting ties with Nicki Minaj following her performance at Turning Point USA's AmericaFest alongside Erika Kirk.

Joe Budden is cutting all ties with Nicki Minaj after she joined Erika Kirk at the Turning Point USA Event.

In a clip from the newest episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, which appeared on social media on Wednesday (Dec. 24), the podcast host expressed that he no longer supports Nicki.

"I'm out. I'm done. That was it. Sorry, I'm gone," Joe said. "The last dance. The last candle on the cake, for me. Sorry Barbz. Sorry [Nicki]. Don't call or text me. It is what it is. Sometimes how y'all move around out there does have an affect on how I view you. And this was one of them things."

Nicki sent shockwaves through the hip-hop community when she appeared as a surprise guest at TPUSA's AmericaFest conference last week. During a sit-down with late right-wing activist Charlie Kirk's widow, Erika Kirk, the rap superstar praised President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance for their relatability and went on a rant about transgender people.

"I don't even know how much of this conversation I could have, but they're so anti-transgender, which is confusing to me because I've been to the Nicki concert," said Budden. "I'm so confused by so much of what was said on that stage. Extremely disappointed."

"Sometimes how y'all move out there does affect how I view you," Budden continued, saying he would be "a fool" to think Minaj hadn't anticipated backlash. He also labeled the appearance "anti-Black," adding that he found the entire moment chaotic and disappointing.

Budden closed his remarks by making his position unmistakable. He said he no longer wants contact from Minaj or her fans and described the event as a breaking point for him.

Minaj, who has recently been strongly associating herself with MAGA, has not yet made a public response to Budden's remarks.
