Katt Williams revealed in a new interview that he purchased a former military base which he intends to turn into a movie studio.
The comedian purchased, Fort McClellan’s Cold War-era barracks in Anniston had been up for sale at a $1.5 million asking price.
On Friday (November 22), Katt Williams publicist, Amy Sisoyev, said in a statement, “I can’t disclose the amount or exact location just yet, but I can confirm that he has purchased a former military base in Alabama.” It’s been reported that Fort McClellan’s Cold War-era barracks in Anniston have been on the market for $1.5 million.
He recently purchased a former military base in Alabama, where he intends to build his own movie studio. Drawing inspiration from production giants like Donald Glover, 50 Cent, and Tyler Perry, Williams expressed, "It’s just not fair to put all that pressure on Tyler Perry. He can only do so much."
