It's official. Two old-school R&B titans are set for the next Verzuz showdown.
Keith Sweat and Bobby Brown Set For ‘Verzuz’ Battle
A battle for the title of R&B king.
The Co-Creators Timbaland and Swizz Beatz announced on social media Tuesday. “SURPRISE CELEBRATION!! See y’all THURSDAY!!” the Verzuz Instagram account said. “@KeithSweat vs @KingBobbyBrown. We’re honored to partner with ESSENCE to bring you this special #VERZUZ.”
t remains to be seen if the two R&B titans will reunite their respective groups, but there’s no denying that any form of a LSG vs New Edition reunion would be sick.
The veteran R&B heroes will go head-to-head for the next Verzuz battle, due to take place 8pm ET JULY 1 through a partnership with Essence festival.
