Kim Kardashian visits California prison as she advocates for Criminal Justice Reform.
Kim Kardashian has big aspirations for her law career — the socialite explained how she hoped to “leverage” her platform “to help change lives and laws.
She made the trip to the Lancaster, Calif., on Monday (April 17), with her sister Khloé Kardashian, Lil Baby, TikTok sensation Dixie D’Amelio, Fanatics mogul Michael Rubin and members of Reform Alliance’s newly announced Future Shapers Advisory Council for Gen Z activists.
Reform Alliance is the criminal justice reform organization was founded back in January 2019 by Michael Rubin, Meek Mill, Jay-Z, Michael Novogratz, Clara Wu Tsai, and Daniel Loeb.
A statement by the org said Kim and company “met with incarcerated men in the facility to learn about their stories, hear about the challenges that led them into the criminal justice system and identify ways in which the system can better support safety and rehabilitation.”
They also “toured rehabilitative programming at the facility.”

Kim, who has been vocal about her support alongside Michael to bring awareness to those wrongfully convicted and criminal justice reform, spoke about the inspiring day.
“It’s always an honor to be able to visit the men and women living behind our prison walls,” she said in a statement. “Hearing the stories of people trapped in the prison system is what drives my commitment to advocate for reform and find ways to leverage my platform to help change lives and laws.”
Kim continued, “Today I was especially thrilled to bring REFORM's Future Shapers Advisory Council inside the prison as well. We are building up the next generation of leaders and influencers who will join us in this fight.”
