The Queensbridge Icon recently toured the upcoming Hip Hop Museum in the Bronx, receiving a private tour and an early glimpse at the development.

Nas got an exclusive first look at the ongoing National Hip Hop Museum in the Bronx on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. He was accompanied by executives from Resorts World (RWNYC) after their substantial joint contribution to the project. The visit showcased the museum's progress, which is set to become a cultural center dedicated to preserving hip-hop history, with Nas expressing enthusiasm about the venue.

TMZ reports that a video captures Nas and his team as they first explore the Hip Hop Museum:

Nas and Resorts World contributed a total of $2 million to The Hip Hop Museum, which is currently being built in the Bronx, New York, the birthplace of hip-hop, with an expected opening in 2026. Nas recently had a private tour, and the donation is aiding in the realization of the museum, which is part of the Bronx Point development, aiming to preserve the history and culture of hip-hop.

The announcement took place at the museum's second annual benefit gala, highlighting a crucial step in preserving hip-hop culture. For Nas, this project goes beyond philanthropy—it's a personal mission to pay tribute to the history that influenced him and many others.

“This museum is something our culture has needed for decades,” Nas said during the gala. “It’s powerful to see a space built to preserve history while inspiring the next generation. Helping bring this vision to life is an honor. The museum stands as a reminder of our roots and a celebration of everything hip-hop continues to represent.”
