Weezy was nearby because he had a pre-booked performance at Drai's Nightclub the same night, which was why he did not appear at the event.

Many fans were disappointed by Weey's absence, especially since he is a central figure in Cash Money's history.

Lil Wayne was in the same city and was reportedly only about ten minutes away from the event.

The Young Money founder missed the Cash Money vs. No Limit Verzuz battle due to a previously scheduled performance at Drai's Nightclub in Las Vegas. Sources confirm he was only around a ten-minute drive from the event, but his prior commitment kept him from attending.

Wayne skipped the Cash Money vs No Limit Verzuz event in Las Vegas, even though he was in town. The eagerly awaited Verzuz between Cash Money and No Limit took place on Saturday night (October 25), featuring a showdown between two of New Orleans’ most legendary rap empires. It seemed to be an exciting event, but the main news was about who was absent.

Wayne, the star of Cash Money, was in Vegas—yes, physically present—but chose not to show up. Online sleuths attempted to uncover the reason for his absence. Apparently, he had a pre-scheduled performance at Drai's Nightclub.

During the battle, Cash Money played one of Wayne's songs, "A Milli," which was performed by Juvenile.
