Dr. P. Miller Receives Honorary Doctorate Degree
The New Orleans Rap mogul Master P is a jack-of-all-trades: rapper, actor, entrepreneur, investor, author, filmmaker, record producer, and philanthropist. He recently leveled up as he can now introduce himself to people as a doctor, having just been awarded an honorary degree from Lincoln University.
Dr. P. Miller received a Doctorate Degree Of Humane Letters from LU on Sunday (May 23), Doctorate Degree of Humane Letters which is awarded to those who have shown immense dedication to professional development and/or humanitarianism.
"P," celebrates after receiving Honorary Doctorate Degree on Monday (May 24), "From the projects to getting a Doctoral degree from @lincolnuniversityofpa Don’t be afraid to change, grow and educate yourself ! I did it" Doctor P. said in IGTV video post announcing the honor. "You can do it."
According, to FACE2FACE AFRICA the ceremony reportedly recognized more than 400 graduates, including six valedictorians.
In addition to Dr. P's honorary Doctor of Humane Letters at Lincoln’s 2021 commencement. Three others received the honorary degree also — Gloria Carter, who is co-founder and chief executive officer of the Shawn Carter Foundation (SCF), former Lincoln University professor Charles V. Hamilton, and renowned professor and author Michael Eric Dyson.
