“I made bad decisions as a man, stepping out, and I gotta take that on the chin.”

The Migos rapper expressed that he “should've shown” Cardi B much greater respect during the Baby, This Is Keke Palmer podcast
Offset admits to having “made a lot of mistakes” in his marriage to Cardi B.
During a recent episode of the “Baby, This is Keke Palmer” podcast, Offset and the host, Keke Palmer, openly talked about the challenges of being in a relationship with another "superstar."
“I was definitely not perfect,” Offset said around the 33-minute mark. “I made a lot of mistakes. I did a lot of wrong, and it’s always on the front screen, so it was hard to move on from it.”
When Palmer asked him what he might have changed in the relationship, Offset highlighted one specific thing.
“I should have respected her way more,” He stated about Cardi. “I made bad decisions as a man, stepping out, and I gotta take that on the chin.”
“I was being selfish, and I can say that as a man,” Offset added. “I wish there wasn’t so much interest in our stuff going on. I've done got out of pocket a couple of times because it feels like you’re getting bullied.”
In another part of the interview, Offset responded to the rumor about him having an affair with Saweetie during her relationship with Quavo.
“No, it was rumored, man,” he said. “I feel like it was something deeper than that for the split of me and bro.”
Offset speculated, “I think people were trying to tear down my situation and their situation,” he commented. “We’re men, we don’t play those games.”
Set’s comments regarding his marriage to Cardi emerge just days after she discussed the psychological effects of their relationship's decline on the On Purpose podcast.
“Last year, I was planning to have an album. I was planning to put out an album, but I couldn't focus," she said. "I fell in the deepest depression that I had ever had. And with that depression, I couldn't function."
"And when I talk about function, it's not even like, oh, just working. I couldn't eat. I couldn't sleep. I couldn't do nothing. So that just halted everything that I had," she added.
"I felt the love dying from my end, from his end," Cardi admitted. "I was very lonely because I [chose] to be lonely. I was saying, like, ‘You know what? I can't go through this anymore. I have to put a stop to it.’”
"But when I said I was going to put a stop to it...because you can say you're going to put a stop to it, and you could; you could go a month without being around somebody,” she concluded. “But it's not when you say so. It's when your heart [says] so..."
