Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine released early from jail amid coronavirus health concerns.

Daniel Hernandez, suffers from asthma and is vulnerable to the deadly virus.

The rapper on Thursday did not show any symptoms of coronavirus, according to his lawyer. "He's out and he's very happy to be released," defense attorney Lance Lazzaro told NBC News.

The New York rapper, who was serving time after pleading guilty to charges of racketeering conspiracy, multiple firearms offenses, and narcotics trafficking, will serve the four-month remainder of his term from home confinement under government surveillance due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the documents, 6ix9ine will be on house arrest for the next four months under supervised release. Not only will he have a GPS monitor, but he'll also have to live at an address agreed upon by his probation officer. Also, 6ix9ine can only leave his house if he requires medical attention or needs to visit his attorney.
