Young Dolph Murder Suspect Attacked in Jail - Report
Justin Johnson aka Straight Drop, a suspect in the murder of Young Dolph, was allegedly attacked at Tennessee Shelby County Jail on Friday, TMZ reports.
The 23-year-old who’s said to use the stage name Straight Drop was identified as a suspect in the November shooting when he shared a music video filmed at the residence where police found a getaway car tied to the murder.
Johnson, who’s in custody on a slew of charges including first-degree murder, was approached by the inmate and socked in the face on Friday, although he didn’t suffer any serious injury. While there was no motive reported, it’s likely in retaliation for Dolph’s November 2021 murder. Authorities at Shelby County Jail confirmed the incident took place and said an investigation is underway.
It's unclear where the punch landed on Johnson, TMZ claims that a rep for the Shelby County Sheriff's Office told them there were no injuries reported.
Recently, an autopsy report revealed Dolph’s senseless murder saw him shot 22 times, including in his back, arms, chest, and neck.
