U.S. Marshals Identify Suspect Wanted for Murder of Young Dolph, Suspect Photo Surfaces
After a report that the U.S. Marshals have identified 23-year-old Justin Johnson aka Straight Dropp as the suspect wanted in connection to the murder of Young Dolph last year.
An interesting image that has been circulating all over the internet Johnson being pictured with Dolph. There's not much context for the photo, however, it reveals a possible deeper connection that could answer more questions about the circumstances surrounding Dolph's tragic and untimely demise.
The mugshot, which you can see below, contains descriptive information of Johnson, including his hair and eye color, height and weight. He also has a tattoo of the name "Jaiya" on his right arm.
The wanted alert reads: "Justin Johnson is wanted by the Memphis Police Department and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for First Degree Murder, Criminal Attempt-First Degree Murder, and Theft of Property $10,000-$60,000. Justin Johnson should be considered armed and dangerous."
According to FOX13 Memphis, TBI, along with the U.S. Marshals and Memphis Police, are offering a combined award of $15,000 for information that will lead to his arrest.
Johnson has also been reportedly added to the TBI’s “Most Wanted” list.
Dolph was shot and killed at Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies in Memphis this past November. Maurice Hill, owner of the bakery, told Fox 13 that “his employees said Young Dolph walked into the store to buy cookies. Someone then drove up and then shot and killed him.”
Dolph was pronounced dead at the scene. He was 36.
