Offset supports Cardi B’s upcoming ‘AM I THE DRAMA?’ album, even amid their ongoing divore

The Migos rapper says Cardi B’s upcoming album is ‘hard’: “That sh*t hard, she’s gonna do her big one too.”

Offset mentions that he will be supporting Cardi B’s forthcoming album, "Am I The Drama?"

Offset is expressing his support for his former partner Cardi B as she prepares to launch her new album, ‘AM I THE DRAMA?’

On Tuesday (Sept. 9), the 33-year-old rapper was seen outside LAX, where he had a brief conversation with a TMZ photographer regarding his new album, Kiari, and Cardi's forthcoming second album, Am I the Drama?

“Are your kids gonna have both their parents nominated for Album of the Year?” asked the photographer, as seen in the video linked here. “For sure,” Offset responded.

“You guys gonna go up against each other maybe?” said the TMZ rep.

“No, no, no,” Offset said immediately without hesitation. “I just want all peace, man, for us to win, everybody gotta win. We got kids to take care of, we got to catch the dubs.”

When questioned about whether he would endorse Cardi’s album,  Offset didn’t hold back.

“For sure,” he answered. “That shit hard, she’s gonna do her big one, too.”

Discussing his album Kiari, released last month and debuting at No. 16 on the Billboard 200 chart, the former Migos member called it his “best solo work” to date and noted that it held significant meaning.

“It was an album that meant a lot to me—after my name, you know what I mean? Just me being personal, me being vulnerable, about life, and people like it … and that’s a blessing, man,” he told TMZ.

Offset showed his support as Cardi B made news by discussing her relationship with New England Patriots wide receiver, Stefon Diggs in an interview with Billboard.

The “Outside” rapper confessed that going public with Diggs was challenging, stating, “It was very tough, but it is what it is. It’s hard to hide. Dating in your 30s is tough, too, but I like him. I love him, today. I was always afraid of dating people because I’ve been in long relationships since I was about 21.”

When questioned about the possibility of a “lasting friendship” with Offset, whom she wed in 2017 and filed for divorce from last July, Cardi responded briefly: “I tried. Next question.”

The couple has three children together. Their first daughter, Kulture, arrived in 2018, and their son, Wave, was born in September 2021. They welcomed their youngest child, Blossom, in September of last year.

Cardi B’s Am I the Drama? will be released on September 19.
